I can provide full design support for your project including trend/branding/start-up business consultation, design development, CAD visuals and detailed factory technical packs, pattern making and card prototypes.

Below is my process for creating a design and then a factory technical pack.

- Moodboards will be created based on your brief. I can advise on trends, shapes, colours, materials, and hardware, based on my research and experience.

- Strategy and concept meeting: The first stages of any design process is understanding your vision and creating a collection based on your unique branding.

- Once the design is finalised, the front view CAD/sketches will be produced in Adobe Illustrator, to scale and in black outline.

- Once the front view design has been approved. The back/side/base views CAD/sketches will be produced in Adobe Illustrator, to scale and in black outline.

- Once all the CADS/sketches are approved a detailed tech pack will be completed, which will include all materials, colours, measurements, hardware indications, and any other details.

- Card prototype service. This helps the client visualise the design in a 3D form to make sure they are happy with all the proportions and design elements.

- Material and costing workout. I create a costing calculation with a breakdown of all the materials and hardware quantities. I do this in Excel with formulas. It will also include your rough production, wholesale and retail price, and profit margins. This is so you can get an idea of how much the bag will cost in different priced materials and manufacturers, as well as help you with ordering materials and hardware.

- Sourcing advice for materials/hardware and factories.
